I try to depict my thoughts through dream-like visions, symbols, blurry pictures trying to convey feelings of an untold story from an alternate reality. I want to catch and hold an echo of my and yet not mine emotions. I attempt to pause the moods of a moment in life that would naturally evolve into something else… unless I freeze them in time and keep them for a little bit longer. And occasionally I draw a funny cat and wonder what he’s up to in his tiny brain. I might even draw one for you!
I’m Roksana, a Manchester based artist and illustrator. I studied Textile Design at Lodz University of Technology where I graduated with a Master of Arts degree.
I take on commissions for portraits, logos, concept art as well as create my own works with the aim of exhibiting them. I also have some handmade cards for sale in my store.
